Compartment syndrome (pressure in the shin)

Compartment syndrome injury is defined as an injury with a traumatic background. It is usually caused by an external injury in the anterior part – lateral to the tibia. This will make you feel like you suffer from pressure in the shin.

As a result of the injury, a hemorrhage occurs in the area. Which is compressed and inflexible, and the chances of stress on the nerve increase.

This pressure can cause paralysis of the muscles around it.

The condition is manifested by difficulty in walking and falling. Such an injury usually requires surgical treatment in order to release the pressure created.

if you do not feel pressure in the shin you might suffer from Chronic Compartment syndrome or shin split.

Do not try to ignore the pressure in the shin and seek medical advice.

The inflammatory stage – at this stage the body diverts the tissues destroyed by body cells that are designed to do so, and at this stage the blood flow to that area is increased.

Construction phase – At this stage the body repairs itself, rebuilds itself and repairs the damage caused. This process is injury dependent and can take up to several months.
