Ankle sprain
Ankle sprain is basically a condition in which the ligaments that support the ankle are injured, stretched, or torn. An ankle sprain occurs as a result of a movement that exceeds the normal range of the joint and is accompanied by pain, hemorrhage, and difficulty stepping on the leg.
An ankle sprain is one of the most common injuries among sports injuries and can occur in almost any type of activity. Sprains are especially common in activities that include changes in direction and jumps.
Treatment in
In most cases, a few days rest for the pilgrimage and its elevation at night using a pillow will help.
After a few days of rest, appropriate physiotherapy treatments should be started. So you strengthen the area and allow a return to full function of the leg.
Giving up physiotherapy will lead to inflexibility, and may even lead to recurrent sprains.
In rare cases, surgery will be needed to restore the ankle to maximum stability.
Pain in the ankle and discomfort can have reasons that are not written here.
And even if you recognize all the symptoms, it is still not 100% sure you are suffering from this injury! Stay calm, and if you are worried that you have experienced this injury, see a doctor who will examine you!
