Calorie balance is the total calories you consume per day, minus the number of calories you spend a day. The calculation is simple.
If for example you consume 2000 calories a day and you burn 1500 calories a day, you are in a positive calorie balance.

If you consume 2000 calories a day and you burn 2500 calories a day, you are in a negative calorie balance.

How to lose weight?

If you want to lose weight fast you need to create habits that will put you in a calorie deficit. Which will usually cause weight loss (unless you suffer from some sort of a health problem). For example, if you consume 2,000 calories a day and burn 1,500. You can, for example, find enjoyable exercise. Thus increasing the number of calories you burn, or alternatively lowering the number of calories you need from your menu.


With any change you make to your eating habits, you must note that the body still gets everything it needs (carbohydrates, proteins, and fats). And that you do not harm it with your new menu.
