How you can avoid injury?


Here are some habits that will help you avoid injuries.

  • adjusted clothing – Be sure to wear adjust clothing for the sport. Clothing that meets all the needs of the athlete in the most comfortable and safe way.
  • Protective equipment – Be sure to use the necessary protective accessories for the sport. Make sure that the equipment is not too heavy, and does not restrict the athlete’s movement.
  • Training surface – it should be noted that the chosen training surface is a suitable and safe surface.
  • Medical examinations – It is mandatory to have frequent medical examinations in order to monitor the athlete’s health and prevent damage to the body. 

Factors Affecting the Chance of Injury

  • Athlete’s Age – At any age, there are risks of injury resulting from physical activity because of the athlete’s physiological abilities. During each training period, it is necessary to adjust the load to the physiology of the same trainee (a 9-year-old child will not lift 50 kilos on his back without strengthening the muscles beforehand properly).
  • Character – As you probably already know not all people in the world have the same character. Some people like to take risks, some people do not like it, some people are calm and some people are nervous. Accordingly, the risk level for injury also varies (people with nerve\anger problems are more prone to injuries more than others).

  • Lifestyle – People who smoke, and those who tend to consume more alcohol than others, as well as people who suffer from insomnia are particularly prone to injury.

  • Nutrition – The body needs fuel to function properly, provide it with the fuel it requires and do not ignore the body’s nutritional needs. 
  • Adherence to drinking water – Most of our body is made up of water. Our body needs water to function, so help it, drink more water, and see that you will feel better.
  • Poor health condition –  be aware of the condition of your health, and adapt to the same condition. Physical tests are designed for this, do not skip them, physical tests are very important.
  • You do not know your body or lack of attention to the signs that the body transmits when engaging in physical activity – how well do you really know your body? Top-level athletes always know to tell their heart rate. So how much do you really know about your body and listen to it? Tell us about your heart rate right now without checking, and then tell us if you were close or not.
  • Poor quality sports equipment – we are not rich enough to buy cheap stuff. Poor quality equipment can cause far more financial damage than you think. A bad shoe can easily lead to injuries in all areas of the body. Physiotherapy will cost you much more than a few more dollars for a shoe. (A shoe is just one example of something that could be necessary equipment of poor quality and could lead to injuries)
