the set of processes that stimulate, direct and preserve human behavior towards a particular goal. It is an internal process that takes place within the individual. Motivation brings with it the intention to act, and the persistence in performing an action. The term “motivation” emphasizes the energy and motility of the phenomenon. Similar to movement in the physical world, motivation appears when there is power in the system. In our case, the psychological system of man. As with any system, the movement begins when power is applied.
We agree with this definition of Wikipedia. what many find difficult to understand is that motivation you can find and it is even easier to achieve, after you have a goal.
On the other hand, we believe that a person is a sum of all his habits. To perform an action that is within our habits, there is usually no need for motivation. For example, anyone who is reading this does not need motivation to brush their teeth (at least we hope so).
Why do you need motivation?
The need for motivation starts when you need to perform a new action. An action that is not a habit. Meaning you are not used to doing the action or do not want to do it. If you want to start running or start maintaining a healthy lifestyle, you will need to find motivation to do so. On the other hand, a person who has been training for years does not need motivation to start running, he needs self-discipline.
