Imagine the following situation:
You get up in the morning, go make yourself a bowl of cornflakes, and find out that there is enough cornflakes and milk just for one serving. What do you say to yourself? You will probably say to yourself “wow I was lucky”. Now, think of the opposite situation: you come to make yourself a bowl of cornflakes and find that there are no cornflakes or no milk. What a misfortune. A bad start of the day. you had no luck.
Now, your luck would be different if you had only checked the day before if you had the groceries in your fridge.
if you had discovered that something was missing, and you would have gone shopping. Would you think that you are not lucky? probably not.
This is a classic case where one thing can influence our luck for the better, just through testing and preliminary assessments. But how can luck be improved on a daily basis?
Here are some examples of simple ways to improve your life and increase your luck.
Every evening, make sure you have all the clothes you want to wear for the next day. What a shame is it to find out at the last minute that the shirt you wanted to wear is in the laundry? Or, you do not have clean socks?
Always make sure you have enough groceries for breakfast. and get dressed after you finish eating. If you get dirty – you will be happy that it is only the pajamas that got dirty and what you planned on wearing. These simple actions will save you valuable time in the morning. Moreover, it will prevent the feelings of frustration and a feeling of “starting your day on left foot”.
In addition, always leave the house 15 minutes earlier. So, if luck does not brighten and there will be a traffic jam on the way, you will still be on time!
There is a famous true story about luck
It is about a mountain climber who did not practice a technique of a certain grip. In one of his climbs, he encountered, unfortunately, a situation that forced him to use this specific technique. He did not practice that technic. The fact that his harness was slightly loosened, and there was a real danger to his life, really made it important for him to succeed in this grip. He tried the grip but fell because he did not have enough strength to hold himself that way. He sank in knowing that these were probably the last moments of his life.
Luckily the harness was caught in a prominent part of the mountain and he was rescued.
In an interview after this miracle he said
“I learned that luck should not be relied upon, if I had practiced the grip, I would not have had to pray, and I could have been sure that everything would be fine.”
In conclusion, we want to sharpen the point. As Thomas Jefferson put it: “The harder I work, the luckier I get.” Luck is with those who work hard, simply because they hardly use luck. So if you have the option not to rely on luck, do not do it. Thus you will improve your luck.

Good luck!
