How do you get motivated?

We at Cap believe that every person in this world can have motivation, and everyone can have a sense of desire to reach their goal as quickly as possible. The difference between most of the average people in the world, to the world’s 1%. Start with the following steps:

So, how do we get motivated?

We at Cap believe that every person in this world can have motivation and be motivated. Everyone can have a sense of desire to reach their goal as quickly as possible. The difference between most of the average people in the world, to the world’s 1%.

Start with the following steps:

Understand where you stand

Most of us, commit the sin of being sucked into a race. Not stopping for a moment to figure out what we are doing. Why we are doing what we are doing. It is very important to take a moment, stop, and ask ourselves a few questions that will help us understand why we are not motivated.

Am I in a good place in my life?

Am I willing to do what I do now, every day for the rest of my life?

If the answer to these questions is no

you need to understand what the source of the problem is. Is the root of the problem is in something in our personal lives, or are we unhappy with our workplace?
Sometimes we tend not to invest in solving our problems because we give up on ourselves, because of mental barriers. Many people create the illusion in their heads that the first step is impossible or they are nor ready yet. That is one of the biggest mental barriers that people encounter. Write down, right at this moment what is the first step you gotta make.


What are my weaknesses? What keeps me from fulfilling my biggest dream? Take a page and write down your weaknesses on it (some examples will be: Fear of not doing something perfectly, laziness, waste of time, fear of what they will think, disbelieve in ourselves, or ego).

Now that you have listed the shortcomings, objectively, and without mixing emotions into what you wrote (so that you can best understand where you stand), answer the following questions:

What are my benefits?

What is my biggest achievement so far?

What are my best qualities?

Thanks to these questions you may find out about yourself things that you miss on a daily basis and do not pay attention to. Now that they are (the weakness and strengths) in your head, you can work on yourself. Strengthen your strengths and weaknesses, which is the first step in gaining motivation and higher self esteem.

Set a goal

When was the last time you drove a car without a final destination?

If you open Waze and do not put an address, Waze will not give you a route. Nor offer different ways to reach a destination you have not set. The same is true in life. We will not be able to know what our next step should be, without knowing where we want these steps to lead us. It will also be very difficult to find motivation without knowing what we need to do with that motivation.

When people talk to us after they have lost themselves, we usually ask them straight away, “What is your passion? What do you want to do?” Many do not have an unequivocal answer.

The next thing we tell them is that they first need to find a purpose, and understand what they want to do, and where to go. Without a goal, even if we really want to, we will not be able to formulate an action plan. It is impossible to formulate an action plan without knowing what the long\short term purpose. Of course, we can create an action plan but, It’s just like flooring the gas paddle on a Neutral. Eventually, you will get worn out.

If you keep going without a destination, the result will be that you will get back to the starting point, with the exact same problem. but with a bit more experience.

Or in other words, where do I get my passion from? How do I find it?

We cannot answer that question the process will be different for each and everyone, there is no one size fit all. that leads us to the next step

 One thing we as human beings have in common is desires. We all want something. not all of us know exactly what this thing is that we want, but we all want something. Whether it’s making money, going on a vacation, losing weight, or finding a hobby.

In order to understand what our passions are, and what our true desires, we need to experiment! never stop trying different interests, if you are lost and do not know what you want to do or where your motivation has disappeared, you will have to start looking by doing. 

What do you like to do? Is it a sport? Is it read? Is it fashion?

You will find what is most interesting and intriguing to you.
If you already know what you like and just have no motivation, you need to look deep inside for answers. Is it just a phase and it will pass? Or, deep down you do not really love the thing you do? Or is it just not going well for you and you’re upset about it?

 The stage of doing is the most difficult stage because it is the stage that separates between, the fulfillment of the dream, to, leaving your dream in the drawer.

Is the stage that requires the most courage because it requires removing the defenses and all the fears and start doing. 

It is important to know!

The more a person wants something and does nothing about these desires, the higher the frustration and disappointment from the situation (which lowers your self-esteem). The less motivated he will be. You must under no circumstances listen to your fears! Fear is meant for us to survive, not for us to evolve.
Once the fear and avoidance of actions become a habit in a person’s life, his chance of success decreases, as does that person’s level of motivation. The best motivation is your actions. Your actions will bring you results and your results will affect your thoughts, and the more you do, and the more results you have, the greater your desire to do!

So when do you start doing? (In the next chapter)

Setting a date

This chapter will help you with a big step towards being motivated. This chapter will be very short, so I recommend you take a page and a pen and write down everything that is written here.

To get started, a simple trick is to write down a date, with the time and the exact action you are going to do.

If your goal is to get in shape then setting the date will be as follows:

I, Cap, hereby undertake that on 4.12 I go out for a ten-minute run, after which I will do some stretch and then shower.

Signature: _______

Once you have committed in this way it is very difficult not to implement the action because if you do not implement it, you will feel like a disappointment. To strengthen the chance of action, you can send this commitment to a friend or coach.

Understand the reason why you are doing this

There is a huge difference between doing something and doing something that you know exactly why you are doing what you are doing. There are several types of questions that if you know the answer to these, your motivation will be stronger as a result:

What

This is the basic question you need to know to answer. If you know what you are doing it’s fine, but it’s not enough.

How

this is the second question you need to know how to answer. How are you going to get what you want? 

So so far we have two important questions, what do you do, and how do you do what you do. For example, I do fitness (I know what I do) and I am now in a period of basic fitness so I do a lot of repetitions (I know how I do fitness).

Why

The most important question in the world is why do you do what you do. Without knowing why you are doing a certain thing, it is very difficult to achieve deep motivation. The desire to succeed and be consistent will not work without your why. Without why it will be hard to be motivated.

 An example of this would be: I do fitness (I know what I do) and I am now in a period of basic fitness so I do a lot of reps (I know how I do fitness) and I do it to be the best athlete in my team.

Why does not end here, why is a very, very strong and deep question.
Most of the most successful businessmen came from dealing with hard times. Whether it was poverty or whether it was a difficult family. These people had 2 options. Either give up life and stay average and continue the family tradition and stay in poverty or use their life and difficult conditions to their benefit. When asked today what was their (the successful people) motive, they answer that they were not willing to stay in poverty and hard life. That is why they were motivated in the long term and not motivated for a short term.

You will find your WHY, just use your difficulties, to create your success story.
